Ryleigh Renee, was born  the youngest of six children in Syracuse, NY.  She attended Bryant and Stratton Business College in Syracuse, obtaining her Legal Secretary Certification prior to her eighteenth birthday, and earned an Associate's Degree in Administrative Assistant through Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, Wisconsin and has worked as an administrative assistant since.  She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree through online college classes.

In 1989 she married her husband and moved to Minneapolis, MN, where her debut work “Land Lover” is set and where they now live, raising their four boys.  Her favorite pastimes include crocheting, cooking, cross stitching and reading.  
 

Ryleigh was inspired to write her book “Land Lover” 25 years ago.  She was an avid reader of romance novels and thought to herself, “I can do this”.   She submitted her book to Harlequin, but it was rejected sight unseen, and since then the novel sat in a 3 ring binder in her basement.  During an unfortunate event, when her husband became critically ill and was hospitalized, Ryleigh and her boys were cleaning out the basement of her home, when “Land Lover” surfaced again.  With a quick read through and some subtle changes, Ryleigh decided to try this again and sent it in to another publishing company for a manuscript read through.    The rest…….
